Terms and Conditions

Payment
If legal action is necessary, B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® will charge an additional fee of $150.00 per hour for court time.

​

Authorization for Automatic Payment
By engaging the services of B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC®, the customer authorizes B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® to charge the card on file for the remaining balance upon completion of the job. In the event of a payment failure, the customer agrees to allow B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® to continue retrying the payment until successful.

Payment Card Requirement
All customers must provide a valid payment card to be kept on file with B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC®. Failure to provide a valid card will require full payment upfront before any work can begin.

​

Late Fees
Payments are due within 10 days. A service charge of $300.00, plus a 5% late fee, will be applied if payment is not received within this period. Additionally, a 1.5% interest charge (18% APR) will accrue every 30 days on any overdue amounts. B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® is entitled to recover all costs associated with collection, including attorneys' fees.

Work
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® agrees to execute the work as described in the contract. The contractor has control over construction methods and coordination unless otherwise specified.

​

Commencement of Work
The owner must ensure that the structures are sound before work begins. B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® is not responsible for damage to unrelated products or surfaces affected during construction.

​

Construction Materials
Excess materials remaining after the job's completion remain the property of B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC®.

​

Insurance
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® maintains the necessary insurance coverage. The owner must have property insurance that covers various risks and lists B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® as an additional insured. Failure to include B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® as an additional insured will result in a $200.00 fine.

​

Environmental Hazards
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® is not responsible for identifying or addressing environmental hazards at the job site. The owner bears all risks and costs related to hazardous materials, unless caused by B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC®’s negligence.

​

Asbestos
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® is not responsible for any expenses related to asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). The owner indemnifies B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® against any liability from ACMs.

​

Noise, Fumes, and Emissions
The owner acknowledges that roofing construction may produce noise, fumes, and emissions and holds B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® harmless from any related claims.

​

Jobsite Conditions
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® will notify the owner of any unknown conditions at the job site and will not proceed without mutual agreement.

​

Marketing/Advertising
The homeowner grants B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® permission to use photos of the property for marketing purposes.

​

Safety
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® is not responsible for the safety of unauthorized persons on the roof. The owner agrees to indemnify B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® from any claims resulting from unauthorized access to the job site.

​

Payment Terms
Payments are due by the date specified on the invoice. Late payments will incur fees and interest charges. Final payment signifies the owner’s acceptance of the completed work.

​

Changes
Any changes to the work or schedule must be documented in a written change order.

​

Disputes
Disputes will be governed by North Carolina law. B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® reserves the right to choose arbitration or mediation.

​

Warranty
Materials and workmanship are warranted against defects. Warranties may be transferred once for a $100 fee.

​

Indemnification
Both parties agree to indemnify each other against claims arising from their respective negligence.

​

Termination
If the owner terminates the contract, B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® will be compensated for incurred costs and anticipated profits. If the customer defaults, a $500.00 fine will be imposed in addition to any other applicable charges.

​

Contract Interpretation
The contract documents are binding. In case of conflict, the order of precedence listed in the contract will apply.

​

Non-Waiver
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC®’s failure to enforce any terms does not waive its right to enforce them in the future.

​

Severability
If any provision of the contract is deemed illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

​

Survival
Terms that are independent of performance will survive the termination of the contract.

 

Lien Notice
The owner is hereby notified of the potential lien rights of those providing labor or materials.

​

Lien Fee
A $500.00 service fee will be added if a lien is placed on the property.

​

Additional Insured
A $150.00 per month fee will be charged for customers who list B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® as an additional insured.

​

Refund/Return Policy
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Damaged items will be replaced. Complaints must be submitted in writing with detailed information.

​

Cancellation
Services may be canceled up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time for a 50% refund of the deposit. A $150.00 fee applies for cancellations made within 72 hours.

 

Complaints
Complaints can be submitted to support@bllaborservices.com. Resolution is not guaranteed.

​

Legalities
B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® is not liable for damages or injuries occurring on the job site.

​

Liability
Liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per item. Damage must be reported on-site.

 

B2B Terms
Invoices must be paid on time. Late payments will incur fees. Disputes must be raised within 30 days. All invoices must be paid before refunds, warranties, or additional services are provided.

What Are Lien Rights?
Lien rights grant a legal claim against the property where services or materials were provided if payment is not made. This ensures that you can recover any money owed.

Your Rights:

  • Protection Against Non-Payment: If B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® does not receive payment for services or materials, you have the right to place a lien on the property.

  • Enforcement: You may enforce your lien rights by initiating legal proceedings, which could include forcing the sale of the property.

  • Company’s Rights: B&L LABOR SERVICES LLC® also holds lien rights for unpaid services or materials, ensuring the company can secure payment for its contributions to the project.
